Freshman Golf Camp
“The more I work and practice, the luckier I seem to get.” - Gary Player
The SLUH Summer Golf Camp is a four day instructional camp for incoming freshmen to St. Louis University High School. It is run in conjunction with the school’s highly ranked high school golf program.
The focus over the four days will be the foundation skills necessary to be successful in the game of golf, i.e stance, grip, swing, along with knowledge of golf rules and course management. A particular emphasis will be placed on the most overlooked part of the game, the short game.
The availability of talented SLUH prep golfers to interact with incoming freshmen gives a practical level of knowledge from players who have and still face the challenge of building a game for a lifetime
Instruction: The camp will include instruction from members of the 2019 SLUH high golf team, Head Golf Coach and KMOX Golf Correspondent, Dan Reardon as well as a five minute private lesson with Director of Instruction Missouri Bluffs, Terri Boehm, Class A LPGA Teaching and Club Professional.
